Color Vision Check is an educational screening tool. It is not a medical diagnosis and does not replace an examination by a qualified eye-care professional.

Information handled by the app

The app does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos, precise location, or health records. Your screening answers and result history are stored locally on your device. We do not operate a server that receives those results.

Advertising and consent

The app uses Google Mobile Ads. Depending on your region and consent choices, Google and its partners may process information such as your IP address, advertising or device identifiers, app interactions, and diagnostic information to provide, measure, secure, and improve advertising. Where required, the app asks for consent before requesting ads and provides privacy choices in Settings.

Local storage and retention

Screening history and language preferences remain on your device until you clear the app’s data or uninstall it. Advertising data is retained by Google according to its policies and your account or device controls.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13. It is designed for a general audience aged 13 and over. A parent, guardian, teacher, or clinician should help younger users interpret any vision concern.

Security and transfers

Local results stay within the app’s protected storage. Google may process advertising information in countries other than your own under its applicable safeguards.

Your choices

• Open Settings in the app to review available advertising privacy choices.
• Use Android and Google advertising controls to limit ad personalization.
• Clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app to remove locally stored results.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app, law, or third-party services change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
